Satellite Television Services

Dish Network and Direct TV both offer satellite television services that, when compared to cable, are inexpensive and filled with great programming options.

In order to be able to take advantage of these satellite television services you will need to have a clear view of the southern sky. In order to take advantage of the current deals and offers you would need to be a new subscriber to either Dish Network or Direct TV.

So many people have already experienced satellite television that meeting this second requirement can sometimes be a difficult one. Not to worry! Here's your soloution...

If you were a previous customer of Direct TV then this time, just sign up with Dish Network. If you previously were a Dish Network customer then this time, subscribe to Direct TV.

It sounds simple but it really is a good solution. The reason why it makes sense is that Dish Network and Direct TV both offer very similar satellite television services. The differences are minimal. Package pricing is the only difference that might get in your way.

You can usually get an entry level programming package from Direct TV for about $29 and the cheapest Dish Network package is about $19 per month. When you look at all of the satellite television services side by side you will usually go with something other than the base programming package and that's where the prices start to even out.

If, on the other hand, you don't happen to have a clear view of the southern sky, the simple solution is to just move to a new house that does! OK, so that might be a bit drastic but I still stand behind the previous suggestion.
